About Students First
12+ years keeping Gainesville students and groups moving
Students First is a Gainesville transportation company built around one job: getting students and groups where they need to be, safely and on time. Everyday school routes and charter transportation, run by the same fleet, the same vetted drivers, and the same standard.
Daily routes anywhere in the State of Florida. Charter transportation available in Gainesville, North Florida, and Central Florida.
Who we are
A Gainesville team, focused on getting groups there
Students First is a locally owned transportation company serving Gainesville and the surrounding North Central Florida communities. For 12+ years, we have built our name on two kinds of work.
School transportation is the everyday: contracted daily routes and shuttles for public districts, charter schools, and private schools, running to the bell schedule all year long.
Charters and group travel are booked one trip at a time: field trips, athletic events, summer camps, weddings, corporate outings, and celebrations of every kind.
How we operate
One standard, whether it's a school run or a Saturday charter
Every Students First driver is licensed, DOT-certified, background-checked, and holds a clean driving record, and every trip is planned around your schedule rather than ours.
Our buses follow a fixed inspection and maintenance routine and are equipped for comfort and safety, so a wedding party is looked after just as carefully on a late-night ride home as students are on the 7 a.m. route.
We stay licensed, insured, and DOT-certified for one simple reason: schools and families are trusting us with the people who matter most to them.
Who we serve
Trusted by schools, teams, and organizers alike
Most days, we are moving students: a district's daily routes, a private school's field trip, an athletic program headed to an away game, or a youth organization off to summer camp.
We also help the wider Gainesville community travel together, from wedding parties and corporate teams to prom nights and private charters. Different trips, same promise: everyone arrives together and on time.
Where we serve
Based in Gainesville, serving the surrounding area
Home base is Gainesville, and we run day in and day out across the surrounding area, including Newberry, Lake City, Ocala, and other nearby communities.
Heading farther out? Our charter coach is built for distance, and longer trips are quoted per journey, so the destination is rarely the limit. See the areas we serve for the full picture.
